Sammy QaDan is a road-tested, seasoned artist whose music will leave you feeling vulnerable, exposed and a little bit lighter in the soul. Based out of the oldest modern city on the Mississippi River, Natchez Mississippi, Sammy has spent a lifetime being molded by the many influences of his home state. The origin-story of his youth was written on a small family cattle farm just off of the historic Highway 61, otherwise known as The Blues Highway in a small community called Sibley, Mississippi. There, he grew up with the songs of country radio both new and old as a soundtrack of summer days spent building, patching and repairing the barbed wire fences that bound together the family farm with his grandfather and uncles. 

   But Country did not define the bounds of his musical interests. His sister Regina and mother Sandra bestowed a love of Rock music from the 70s, 80s and 90s upon him as well, and as he got older, he explored more and more of this realm of sonic space. Fast forward to today, and you find QaDan as a musical amalgamation of the aforementioned genres with additional hints of Soul and Gospel and an overtone of Blues influence on all of the above. To put it plainly, he sounds like Mississippi. And some whispers say… he is the torch-bearer of a Modern Renaissance of Emerging Artists in the state where America’s Music started.
